Well, if you haven’t heard the word by now, we’ve moved!!  We are now located three doors down from our old location and are now located between Barnes & Noble Bookstore and Hallmark.  Same great stuff, same great atmosphere and our same great customers!

If any of you have moved your home in the past year or so, you can attest to the fact that it is no fun at all.  Well, try moving 13,000 sq. ft of furniture to a new location, get all the vignettes set up and looking gorgeous and do it all in four days!!  It’s like moving your own home three times in a row.  Whew!  If I ever do this again, just shoot me.

We have received tons of compliments from our old customers and have attracted some new customers as well.   Our selling space is very close to what we had in our old location but our back office has shrunk considerably……you’ve probably noticed when you are waiting at the counter and can look back into our back office.  It is much smaller than before.  We are using our warehouse facilities at our sister company to store much of our inventory.

If you have been in the store lately, I hope you agree it looks fantastic.  We are putting new product on the floor everyday and have some really neat stuff coming for Fall and Christmas.  Speaking of Christmas, we will begin the store’s fantastic transformation to a Winter Wonderland in the next week or so.  Yes, I know it seems early, but heck, we’re just trying to keep up with the Macy’s and Dillard’s of the world.  So stop in, say hello and make yourself comfortable.  We’re glad you’ve decided to make our store your favorite home accessories store!

We have recently updated our web site, so please take a look and let us know whether you like it or not.  At the website, you can still sign up for our newsletter and the birthday coupons.  We are trying to make the website informative and interesting to our customers and occasionally will throw in some discount coupons for special merchandise we are trying to highlight, so keep looking!

American Cancer Society Holiday Card – It’s Coming!!

October 27 – November 6.  Those are the magic dates for the American Cancer Society’s Holiday Card.  By purchasing the card, you can receive 20% off all merchandise at our store, as well as hundreds more stores participating in the event.  Our store will be stocked to the rafters with incredible merchandise, so please, buy a card and  come see us!

Private Shoppers Night! – November 17^th

Also coming soon is our famous Private Shoppers Night.  This year we are planning to hold that event on Thursday, November 17.  We will be sending out invitations in the few weeks, so be looking out for that.  Everything in the store will be 20% off for one night only!  There will be refreshments served, wine, eats, and plenty of Door Prizes.  So mark your calendars early and clear any conflicts you might have.  You won’t want to miss this gala event!

Sign Up for Home Christmas Decorating

We are now accepting reservations for those of you who would like The Accessory Place to decorate their homes for the holidays.  This would include Christmas trees, centerpieces, wreaths, etc.  Due to the overwhelming response we receive from our customers for decorating, there will be a $2,500 minimum charge for this service.  Please ask for Donna Baker or Lynn McGray to sign up.
